The Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) launched the 2017 Metrobank Art & Design Excellence (MADE) through a series of art exhibits and lectures dubbed as “Art MADE Public.” In line with the celebration of the National Arts Month this February, the event happened last February 3, 2017 (Friday), 6:30PM at SM Supermall Lifestyle Center S Maison, Conrad Manila, Pasay City. Renowned art patron Silvanna Ancelloti-Diaz, owner of Gallerie Duemila, the oldest existing gallery in the country, served as Guest of Honor.

(SHANGHAI – November 26, 2015) Larys Frogier, Director of the Rockbund Art Museum (RAM), and Marc Le Mat, Managing Director of HUGO BOSS CHINA RETAIL CO. LTD, announced Maria Taniguchi as the recipient of the HUGO BOSS ASIA ART Award for Emerging Asian Artists 2015. Maria Taniguchi (b. 1981, Philippines) was selected from six nominated artists: Guan Xiao (Mainland China), Huang Po-Chih (Taiwan), Moe Satt (Myanmar), Vandy Rattana (Cambodia), and Yang Xinguang (Mainland China), whose works are displayed at RAM from October 30, 2015 to January 3, 2016.
In the spirit of celebrating and engaging the bold, complex and multifaceted Philippine artistic community, Don Papa is hosting the Don Papa Art Competition. The Don Papa Art Competition is an open call to Filipino artists to reimagine the Don Papa canister design. The winning artwork will be used on a limited edition canister gift pack for Don Papa Rum and will be distributed nationwide in the Philippines.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit their proposals by November 13, 2015.
