November 18 - Manila, Philippines. The co-working space of Warehouse Eight hosted the first edition of Komura; Book Fair, which drew sizable traffic of like-minded book lovers, especially towards the evening.
Sponsored by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), Warehouse Eight, together with Kwago Bookstore, organized the first experience-driven book fair that explores different ways to consume literature.
Now occupying two floors of exhibit space to cater to book lovers, the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), promises to be bigger on its 38th year, set on Sept. 13-17, at the SMX Convention Center, MOA Complex, Pasay City. Expanding its exhibit area from 9,130 to 11,980 square meters, MIBF 2017 will dedicate the entire second floor to children’s books and young adult books.
